On March 24, 2019, Canada Run Club joined in the Sunday long run at Aerobics First in Halifax.
The Sunday long run is a staple of Halifax’s running community. Runners of varying abilities come together with the shared goals of putting in the work, sharing smiles and enjoying a coffee afterwards to celebrate.
Up to 50 runners, including 3 CRC members, met-up to run either the 8K or 15K route, both touring the scenic Halifax waterfront. It was a great way to start the day – with fresh weather, a group of motivated runners and a beautiful view.
Thank you to Aerobics first for having us at the Sunday long run. We loved seeing everyone’s motivated, smiling faces!
Aerobics First is Halifax’s go-to store for special treatment when it comes to shoes, skis and apparel to match active lifestyles. Whether you ski, walk or run, they want to get you moving comfortably.
Aerobics First owner Luke MacDonald has been recognized for starting the hashtag #WorldLitterRun, engaging runners around the world to pick up litter and clean the streets while they run!
